Glen Wakeman is a successful global business executive, writer, investor, mentor and entrepreneur. Educated at The University of Chicago, he has lived in six countries and worked in 32 during a 20 year career with GE Capital and as CEO of Doral Financial Corporation. Glen has lead and transformed businesses with over 17,000 employees and $15bn in assets. His activities have included start-ups, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, downsizing, new market entry and exponential growth.

 

He is currently the co-founder and CEO of LaunchPad Holdings, LLC. This SAAS firm enables early stage entrepreneurs to increase their success rates by providing on-line business planning services.

He blogs frequently about business transformation, global affairs, emerging markets and leadership and he provides advice on strategy, angel financing and capital raising. Glen mentors several C-level executives and is an advisor to start-ups like Sitter Bees and Dreamfunded. He is passionate about growth, innovation and executive development.
